3rd - 8th grades  

$250 flat fee (Max 10)

Denver Fencing Center is excited to offer Little Fencers class to the students of Waldorf. Participants will be able to learn what it takes to become a Jedi, a pirate, or a musketeer through an introduction to the modern sport of fencing. Students will learn the fundamentals of fencing in a safe and fun environment. The instructor will provide lightweight practice equipment, which is specially made for young children first learning the sport. Join us for this exciting form of physical and mental exercise!

Sweet Peas is an eight week session for parents and/or caregivers and children 12 months to 2.5 years old to experience Waldorf. The warm and simple rhythm guides children and their families through activities such as bread baking, sharing songs and puppet plays, taking time for self care, and of course, play! Parents will have the opportunity to join in discussion around child development, rhythm and family life, and embark in seasonal crafting.

Grades 1-6 (max 30).

1st-4th grades (Max 10)
$300 Flat Fee
Taught by National Master and 5-time Denver Chess Champion, Todd Bardwick. The class will be structured teaching in the first half hour and then the students will play each other the second half hour while Todd gives suggestions, answers questions and helps the students better understand the game, etiquette, tactics and strategies. No prior chess knowledge is necessary.
