Merit- and Need-Based Scholarships
We offer need-based scholarships to prospective and currently enrolled students, as well as merit-based scholarships to currently enrolled students of The Denver Waldorf School. Merit scholarship award amounts depend on available funds allocated in any given year and are not guaranteed year-to-year.
We award our merit-based scholarships to currently enrolled DWS high school students who are dynamic, compassionate, and striving students who have displayed excellence in academics, the arts, and/or athletics. The two types of scholarships in this category include:
Blue Merit Scholarships — Current DWS 8th grade students applying to The Denver Waldorf High School
Gold Merit Scholarships — Current DWS high school students in grades 9-11
We award need-based scholarships to racially, ethnically, culturally, and economically diverse students and families (including LGBTQ), who demonstrate financial need through the Tuition Adjustment application. The two types of scholarships in this category include:
Joan Condon Family — Current and new DWS students (all ages)
Diversity & Inclusivity — Current and new DWS students (all ages)
General eligibility requirements for need-based scholarships include:
