College Series – Gap Years and Alternative Pathways
March 11 @ 4:00 pm - 5:00 pm
The “Gap Years and Alternative Pathways” talk will explore different options for students who may not choose college right away, or at all. We will discuss Gap Year options such as volunteering, travel, language study, or alternative studying. With those, we will discuss how best to go about those in preparation for going to college afterwards. We will also look at alternatives to 4-year college programs such as trade schools, apprenticeship, entrepreneurship, military, and more.
The College Series are informative sessions focused on different aspects of the college and post-secondary application process. These sessions are open to all DWS parents and supporters, particularly the families of high school students, and especially during the junior year (unless otherwise noted). All sessions are scheduled for Tuesdays at 4pm and will be in person and on zoom https://zoom.us/j/96481715221?pwd=ifG3aBEYHC5S82Zg6xIJIlIM6T4Kms.1
