Why Waldorf Now?
More than ever, our students need an education that fosters resilience, adaptability, compassion, and confidence. They need the intentional integration of high academics, arts, music, and movement to educate the whole human. Welcome to The Denver Waldorf School.
Our way of being
By engaging the child’s thinking, feeling, and willing, Waldorf education guides children to become original thinkers, creative innovators, compassionate world citizens, and lifelong learners. Waldorf education awakens and inspires students’ critical thinking, emotional intelligence, and artistic expression, preparing them to bring relevant contributions to the world. At The Denver Waldorf School, education is a lifelong process for students, parents, faculty, and staff, alike.
Our commitment
At The Denver Waldorf School, we believe diversity, equity, and inclusion strengthen education and foster the essential element of respect that prepares students to live and work in a global environment.
Waldorf education is founded in a worldview that acknowledges the spiritual nature of all beings. Waldorf education fundamentally recognizes and values the many people and perspectives of the world. It honors the freedom, equality, individuality, and unique capacities of each child and is dedicated to creating an inclusive community that respects and affirms each of its members.
Preschool through High School
From our Preschool to the lively halls of our high school, the Waldorf experience takes a hand-on approach to education.
