Sara is a proud Colorado native who grew up in Fort Collins and has lived her entire life along the beautiful Front Range. She earned her bachelor’s degree in accounting and business administration from Colorado State University (Go Rams!) and later picked up an MBA from the University of Colorado Denver.

Her career began in public accounting, where she cut her teeth as an auditor and accounting consultant—learning the fine art of asking tough questions politely. She went on to serve as Controller for a software startup, a real estate brokerage, and a global marketing firm, proving she could count beans in just about any industry. Eventually, she launched her own accounting services firm, adding “entrepreneur” to her résumé.

Sara is a licensed CPA in the state of Colorado and, when she’s not balancing budgets, she’s balancing family life with her two kids who attend the Denver Waldorf School. In her free time, she enjoys gardening, baking, and hitting the ski slopes with her crew—ideally not all in the same day. She is thrilled to be a part of this wonderful community.
