Waldorf-Inspired Summer Camp: June 5 – August 4, 2017

The Denver Waldorf School’s Enrichment Camp for summer offers a variety of playful weekly themes in June, July and August for children in:

  • Early childhood (3 ½ to 6 ½ years old)
  • Lower grades (rising 1st through 5th grade)

Weekly Themes and Activities

In line with Waldorf education and principles, DWS summer camp allows students to dive into the liveliest of seasons with adventure and exploration while maintaining the basic rhythm of a typical Waldorf school day. See the full lineup of all 8 weekly camps by downloading the summer camp themes and details page.

New this Summer

In an effort to bring even more of the Waldorf experience to camp, our new Enrichment Director Dawn Archer has weaved science, movement, crafts, storytelling and music into each of the weekly programs. Each age-appropriate activity is consistent with the Waldorf curriculum, giving students a fun setting for learning and experimentation.
